(Yes I did spend the time to find out where to shoot a lion)
My favorite Disney hero, Simba, and favorite Disney villian, Clayton.
Actually this isn't much of a poaching photo, I based it on big-game hunting photos. While researching the sustainability of safari hunting for a paper I wrote last year I looked at some of the photos posted on the hunting sites and loved how ludicrous they were. I recently was wondering what to draw next, remembered those pics and decided that as my theme.

Later that day ... a wandering pride of lionesses led by a lithe female with blue eyes smells the scent of her king and husband, ... and then notices the shotgun in the hunter's possession. The other lionesses soon notice what the led female already has... and they start to mutter amongst themselves .... they then decide to surround the hunter and before long tear into him. He fires a few more shells from his shotgun, but he realizes that he's only delaying the inevitable .... and before long the remaining lionesses who haven't been shot start tearing into the hunter. Normally they would make quick work of him, especially sense their teachings suggest that none of their prey should suffer when they are being killed during a hunt, ... but this hunter isn't their prey .... oh no , ... no no, ... this hunter is an enemy ... and he will endure every ounce of pain, agony, and suffering the laws these lionesses are ruled by will allow .... Birds miles away will fly off as they are scared off by the blood curdling screams of this hunter ... passers by will wonder what is happening and to who , as they look around in complete horror in search of the origins of sounds that seem to be something from the most frightening nightmares ..... When the dust has settled , and the carnage has ended ,.. the lionesses do not feel proud of what they have done, ... they feel as if justice has been served, for the one they know, if not by sight then by heart and evidence, the one who killed their beloved king, and in the case of the blue eyed lionesses, her husband and loving mate, has been executed, ... not murdered .
In the end,... three lionesses lay dead, the blue eyed lioness named Nala, her mother Sarafina, and the Kings mother.... Sarabi. They have all gone to be with the Great Kings of the past,.... and they too will be mourned .
The remaining lionesses look themselves over, and after a few moments, they have gathered and accepted what has happened here today, and say in unison "LONG LIVE THE KING, LOVE LIVE THE QUEEN, LOVE LIVE THE QUEEN MOTHER, .... LONG LIVE THE QUEEN'S MOTHER!!!!".
